The graduating students were composed of five (5) personnel from the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) and thirty-three (33) from Philippine Marines, Philippine Coast Guard, and Philippine Army.

MGEN NESTOR C HERICO, PN(M), Commandant of the PMC, served as the Keynote Speaker during this very momentous event and delivered his very heartfelt message to the VIP Training graduates.

MSEG is responsible for security on naval facilities, vital government installations, and protection of VIPs. The unit also fills most of the PMC’s ceremonial duties and mounts the honor guard at the Rizal Monument in Manila.

The VIP Protection and Security Training trained the participants/graduates in the specialized field of executive protection to improve their technical and tactical skills in security survey, risk analysis, and threat assessment to keep the executive officers secure and safe from any hazards.

This prolific milestone for our personnel was made notably possible thru the initiative and leadership of CT/CSUPT JOHN PAUL O SANTOS, Acting Director, Directorate for Administration.Indeed, through the support of our visionary USEC GERALD Q BANTAG whose astounding governance always aims to the restructuring, upgrading, and professionalization of the BuCor personnel as part of his flagship projects and modernization priorities, BuCor will always be remarkably excellent in the extreme demands of the corrections service and management.“Reforming Lives, Community Thrives”CO1 Benjamin C Tobias IIIPIO Contributor
