Successful Transfer of PDL to PPFs

On May 30, 2022, eighty-seven (87) Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) were properly turned-over to different Operating Prison and Penal Farms (OPPF) escorted by BuCor Personnel spearheaded by CSINSP FREDERICK CHARLES LIM together with the Special Operations and Rescue (SOAR) Team.

The total transferred PDL came from New Bilibid Prison (NBP), Muntinlupa City and Correctional Institution for Women (CIW), Mandaluyong City to San Ramon Prison and Penal Farm (SRPPF), Zamboanga City and Correctional Institution for Women (CIW) in Davao del Norte, respectively.Proper coordination from other law enforcement agencies were observed during the convoy for safety and security assistance and likewise with the Superintendent of the two (2) OPPFs mentioned above.Moreover, their effort to escort PDL amidst the ongoing pandemic while at the same time strictly following the IATF guidelines for health safety purposes has shown to be admirable. Indeed, this is one for the books of the many mission they have accomplished as part of the escort group of the Bureau. It is through the leadership of the Director General, USEC GERALD Q BANTAG, that the Bureau continues to observe heightened security measures especially in escorting PDL. The Bureau under the leadership of USEC BANTAG makes every effort to implement the institution’s decongestion program.“Reforming Lives, Community Thrives”
