The Creation of the Philippine Corrections Academy CTSUPT ELSA A ALABADO together with CINSP JOEVI T VALENZUELA JR, CTSO4 Mary Anne L Esculto, and CO1 Benjamin C Tobias III attended as BuCor representatives the Seminar/Workshop on Updating of Standard Learning Packages (SLPs) and Course Syllabus conducted by the Academics Group of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) on July 12 to 13, 2022 at the Academics Building, PNPA, Camp General Mariano N Castañeda, Silang, Cavite.

This purposeful undertaking was initiated for the feasible establishment of the Philippine Corrections Academy (PCA) patterned after the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) as ordained by Rule XI, Section 11 (c), of the RA No. 10575 or “The Bureau of Corrections Act of 2013”.

The BuCor continues to be progressive and highly developed through the astounding governance of its esteemed Director General, USEC GERALD Q BANTAG, who remains the standard of true and principled leadership. His modernization flagship will, indeed, build and expand the pool of well-educated and well-trained national security practitioners and future generations of national security leaders and managers in the corrections service.
