The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) formally marked the year with its first Flag Raising Ceremony led by CT/CSUPT MA CECILIA V VILLANUEVA, OIC, Deputy Director General for Reformation (DDGR), Director, Directorate for Health and Welfare Services (DHWS), and Chief of the New Bilibid Prison Hospital (NBPH), on 05 January 2025 held in front of the Administration Building, National Headquarters, Muntinlupa City.
The ceremony was attended by the BuCor Commissioned and Non-Commissioned Officers, Civilian Personnel, and Corrections Officer 1 trainees, who gathered to pay due respect to the Philippine flag and to reaffirm their commitment to the principles of patriotism and public service.
Beyond tradition, the activity served as a reminder of the shared responsibility of all personnel to carry out the mission of the Bureau and to continuously strive for excellence in corrections service.
