Prusisyon – The Mural of Thanksgiving

“Prusisyon” is a painted mural adorned with rhinestones, created by former Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) as a tribute to the individuals and institutions devoted to PDL reformation.

Inspired by the solemn spirit of sacred processions deeply rooted in Filipino culture, the artwork honors the quiet champions who work tirelessly to restore dignity, hope, and opportunity to those seeking reintegration into society. Depicted within the mural are educators, lawyers, public servants, industry leaders, volunteers, faith stewards, and ordinary citizens whose compassion and commitment help rebuild lives often overlooked and misunderstood.

Each rhinestone placed close to the heart of every figure symbolizes sacrifice, service, and the enduring light of human goodness. Crafted by hands once marked by confinement, the mural stands as an offering of gratitude, reflection, and renewed purpose.

“Prusisyon” reminds us that true nation-building is carried forward by those willing to lift the fallen, guide them toward reform, and walk beside them on the path back to dignity and hope.
