Fifty-seven (57) Civilian Personnel of the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) successfully completed the Corrections Administration and Treatment Course (CATC) Batch 01-2026 “LINGKOD-ALAB,” which was conducted from 04 May 2026 and culminated on 08 June 2026.
The CATC is designed to strengthen the knowledge, discipline, and professional competence of BuCor Civilian Personnel in the field of corrections administrations. Through the course, participants were equipped with understanding of their roles in supporting the Bureau’s mandate of safekeeping and reforming Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).
Batch 01-2026 “LINGKOD-ALAB” is composed of 24 personnel from the National Headquarters/New Bilibid Prison (NHQ/NBP), three (3) from the Correctional Institution for Women (CIW), two (2) from Davao Prison and Penal Farm (DPPF), eight (
from Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm (IPPF), seven (7) from Leyte Regional Prison (LRP), nine (9) from Sablayan Prison and Penal Farm (SPPF), and four (4) from San Ramon Prison and Penal Farm (SRPPF).

Espartero of SPPF, Ms. Mekaella G. Solivio of NHQ/NBP, Ms. Ma. Snyrah Niña D. Pascua of IPPF, Ms. Anchie D. Bolon of NHQ/NBP, and Ms. Pebe C. Graiz of IPPF, who tied with Mr. Reichmond Zaldy L. Bantilan of NHQ/NBP.
C/CSUPT CELSO S BRAVO, Head Executive Assistant, Office of the Director General, congratulated the members of Class “LINGKOD-ALAB” for successfully completing the course.
He also conveyed the message of ASEC AL I PERRERAS, Deputy Director General for Administration, who reminded the graduates that their roles in the Bureau require discipline, integrity, and compassion. He further encouraged them to apply the knowledge, values, and competencies they gained from the course in the performance of their duties and responsibilities.
The completion of CATC Batch 01-2026 forms part of BuCor’s continuing efforts, under the leadership of the Director General, GENERAL GREGORIO PIO P CATAPANG JR., AFP (Ret.), CESE, CCLH., to modernize the Bureau by investing in the professional growth, competence, and readiness of its workforce.
