Seventeen officers from the Officers Advance Course for Custodial (OAC-C) Class 2024-02 “KAHILADMAN” (Kalipunang Hinirang sa Layunin at Adhikaing Mapalakas at Mapatatag ang Pambansang Piitan), proudly marched during their graduation ceremony on October 18, 2024, at the New Conference Room of the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City.
The ceremony was attended by key officials from the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor), including BuCor DIRECTOR GENERAL GREGORIO PIO P CATAPANG JR., AFP (Ret.), CESE, CCLH, who led the event and praised the graduates for their dedication and achievements.
Among the top performers, C/SINSP REDENTOR S ROQUE emerged as the top graduate, followed closely by C/SINSP MARLON E MANGUBAT, who was also recognized with the prestigious Leadership Award. C/SINSP EDGARDO F MENDOZA JR. secured third place and was honored with the Marksmanship Award.
The graduates, all Corrections Senior Inspectors, successfully completed the intensive training that began on August 16, 2024, and concluded on the day of the ceremony. The course was delivered through a Hybrid Learning Approach, providing a blend of in-person and remote instruction to equip the officers with essential custodial and leadership skills.
The Custodial Officers Advance Course prepares officers for more advanced roles in the Bureau of Corrections, enhancing their skills in custodial management, leadership, and operational excellence.
