GENERAL GREGORIO PIO P CATAPANG, JR., AFP, (Ret.), CESE, CCLH of the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) presided the Command Conference attended by the distinguished Key Officials of the bureau held at the Conference Room, National Headquarters, Muntinlupa City.
The main focus of the 1st Command Conference was to discuss and strategize the bureau’s budget allocation. The agenda highlighted several key areas of priority, such as deploying K9 units to all OPPFs, installing and enhancing CCTV systems and body cameras, acquiring earthmoving equipment for project development, expediting land titling of all BuCor properties, and maximizing the utility of land acquired by penal colonies. Moreover, there was a strong emphasis on poster collaboration to other agency, recognizing its potential to generate more opportunities for the bureau’s development. The discussions were carried out to detail and a commitment to ensuring proper utilization of resources for the benefit of the bureau as a whole.
Through collaborative discussions, ideas are shared, connections are formed, and a vision for a better tomorrow is nurtured, making this conference a platform for driving meaningful change in the bureau’s quest for improvement in the future.
