Three lawyers who hold the Corrections Officer rank were promoted to Corrections Senior Inspector (C/SINSP) during the oath-taking and donning of ranks ceremony held at the Office of the Director General, National Headquarters today, March 12, 2024.
The newly promoted officers, whose dedication and service to the corrections service have earned them this significant milestone, are ATTY. CYNTHROSE F CASANOBA, ATTY. FRANCIS JADE P PAJUNAR, and ATTY. NANCY P PUN-AD.
BuCor Director General GREGORIO PIO P CATAPANG JR., AFP (Ret.) CESE, CCLH administered the oath of office, followed by the donning of the newly acquired ranks. This occasion was graced by ASEC AL I PERRERAS, AFP (Ret.), Deputy Director General for Administration (DDGA), ASEC GIL T TORRALBA, Deputy Director General for Security and Operations (DDGSO), other Key Officials, and non-commissioned officers.
DG CATAPANG congratulated the officers on their well-deserved promotion and reminded them that their promotion comes with higher responsibilities. He urged them to deliver on the expectations of their new positions.
The bureau remains committed to its objective of reforming not just the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), but also the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) itself. As part of this ongoing effort, promotions of officers will be integrated into the comprehensive reform initiative.
