The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) joined in the Opening Ceremony of the Southeast Asian Shooting Association (SEASA) 2024 Philippines Open on December 3, 2024, at the PSC-PNSA Shotgun Range, BuCor, Muntinlupa City.
The Philippine National Shooting Association (PNSA) hosted the event, which was attended by the BuCor Director General, GENERAL GREGORIO PIO P CATAPANG JR, AFP (Ret.), CESE, CCLH, along with CONGRESSMAN FAUSTINO MICHAEL CARLOS DY, President of PNSA; Ms. Veneranda “Irene” Garcia, Secretary General of PNSA; Mr. Richard Bachman, Chairman of Philippine Sports Commission; and Mr. Bhattakarka Bunnag, Technical Delegate.
Delegates from various Southeast Asian countries participated in the program, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Taipei, Thailand, and Vietnam. The competition will run until December 14, 2024, facilitated by judges and referees across Southeast Asia.
The sport highlights the exceptional precision and skills of shooters, showcasing their expertise and experience in the competition.
