Reception Rites of COCBC Class 22-2022

Reception Rites of COCBC Class 22-2022
Earlier today, the Corrections National Training Institute (CNTI) facilitated the Reception Rites for the ninety-five (95) Corrections Officer 1 Trainees (CO1/T) composed of sixty-three (63) males and thirty-two (32) females of the Corrections Officer Custodial Basic Course (COCBC) Class 22-2022 at the CNTI Parade Ground, New Bilibid Prison.
The Reception Rites was presented by C/INSP ALLAN A ROSALES, COCBC Commandant, with the supervision of C/CINSP LUCIO C GUEVARRA, CNTI Acting Director. Other Key Officials who graced the activity are CT/SINSP CARMENCITA B BRAVO, Chief, Education and Training Division and C/INSP MARK MELVIN D ROSERO, Chief, External Affairs Section (EAS).
The rites consisted of ten (10) stations with allotted five (5) minutes for each station. With full strength and dedication, the trainees successfully finished the rites. This marked the first day of their training as Corrections Officer in the making. Through this training, the character of a well-disciplined and efficient Officer will be molded as pride of the agency.
The Reception Rite signifies a customary greeting for incoming personnel. They hold great symbolic value as they represent a transition from one’s civilian antics and lifestyle to adopting a rigid and well-disciplined role as a public servant.
The program concluded with a closing remark from the Keynote Speaker, C/CINSP EDUARDO P GOGORZA, Deputy Director, Directorate for Security and Operations (DSO). In his message, he reminded the trainees that their role is vital, and their commitment to excellence is the cornerstone of a thriving community.
