The Men and Women of the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor), under the leadership of Director General GREGORIO PIO P CATAPANG JR., AFP (Ret), CESE, CCLH attended the Presentation of 7K Training Approaches and Management Agenda (7K TAMA) Program held at the New Conference Room, National Headquarters (NHQ) on May 23, 2024.
The presentation was attended by DG CATAPANG JR; ASEC ATTY AL I PERRERAS, Deputy Director General for Administration (DDGA); ASEC GIL T TORRALBA, Deputy Director General for Security and Operations (DDGSO); CCSUPT CELSO S BRAVO, OIC-Deputy Director General for Reformation (DDGR); and other BuCor Key Officials.
CDRD DALMACIO L CARINGAL PCGA MCDRM, Acting Director, Directorate for Personnel Education and Training Service discussed the 7K TAMA Program, which stands for KAUGALIAN, KAALAMAN, KASANAYAN, KATATAGAN, KATARUNGAN, KATAPANGAN, and KARANGALAN.
These training approaches aim to provide a holistic education and training for the personnel by molding them into becoming a principled and dedicated Corrections Officers. Moreover, it sets to promote the well-programmed trainings intended to develop and produce globally competent and high-caliber Officers demonstrating honesty, integrity and ethical behavior. The NHQ Corrections National Training Institute (CNTI) and all local CNTI of the different penal farms are expected to implement this program.
Indeed, 7K TAMA Program is the New Battle Cry!
