The Corrections National Training Institute (CNTI) officially opened the Officers Advanced Course for Custodial (OAC-C) Class 2024-02 for Corrections Senior Inspectors during a ceremony held on August 16, 2024, at the Quarantine Facility Building.
The ceremony commenced with the participation of 18 Corrections Senior Inspectors from the various Operating Prisons and Penal Farms (OPPF) of the Bureau. The opening of this crucial course was officially declared by C/INSP ALLAN A ROSALES, Deputy Director of CNTI.
Gracing the momentous event were MR. DALMACIO L CARINGAL, Director for Directorate for Personnel Education and Training Service (DPETS), C/CINSP LUCIO C GUEVARRA, Acting Director of CNTI and other key personnel. The OAC-C will be conducted using a Hybrid Learning Approach from August 16, 2024 to October 2024.
The ceremony featured C/CINSP NEIL DIONISIO A BUOT, Deputy Chief of Legal Service, as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. C/CINSP BUOT emphasized the importance of continuous professional development for corrections personnel, particularly in enhancing custodial practices and ensuring the safety and security of correctional facilities.
