An Interoperability Training on Urban Combat Training, including Observe Fire Procedure Training and Mechanized Infantry, was successfully participated by thirteen (13) Corrections Officers from the Leyte Regional Prison (LRP). This training took place at the 8th Division Training School of the Philippine Army, located in Brgy. Fatima, Hinabangan, Samar, over a duration from August 11, 2024 to September 04, 2024.
The training was actively participated in by the Philippine National Police, Philippine Coast Guard, and the Philippine Army. This multi-agency involvement underscores the collaborative efforts necessary to prepare personnel for the complexities of urban combat scenarios.
The rigorous drills, simulations, and tactical exercises conducted during the training were designed to equip participants with essential knowledge and skills crucial for effective operations in urban environments. The focus on practical, hands-on experience is vital in ensuring that participants can apply their training in real-world situations.
