Graduation Ceremony of OAC Class 2024-01 “MABALASIK”

The Bureau of Correction (BuCor) Corrections National Training Institute (CNTI) conducted the Graduation Ceremony of Corrections Officers Advance Course for Custodial (OAC-C) Class 2024-01 “MABALASIK” held at the New Conference Room, National Headquarters, Muntinlupa City on September 17, 2024.
This course is designed for middle-level Commissioned Officers with the rank of Corrections Senior Inspector (C/CINSP) – Corrections Superintendent (C/SUPT) to enhance their leadership knowledge and skills. The course runs from July 23 – September 17, 2024.
The event was highlighted by GENERAL GREGORIO PIO P CATAPANG JR., AFP (Ret.), CESE, CCLH, Director General, BuCor as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. Also present during the event was ASEC GIL T TORRALBA, Deputy Director General for Security and Operation, CT/CSUPT MARIA CECILIA V VILLANUEVA, Director, Directorate for Health and Welfare Services and Chief, NBP Hospital, CT/SUPT ELSA A ALABADO, Acting Director, Directorate for Administration, MR DALMACIO L CARINGAL Director, Directorate for Personnel Education and Training Institute (DPETS), Fr. Jessie Los Bañes Jr, BuCor Chaplain and several BuCor Officials, personnel and loved ones of the graduates.
Among the graduates, C/CINSP LUCIO C GUEVARRA, emerged as the top achiever of their class followed by C/CINSP GARY A GARCIA, C/CINSP RICARDO R SESPEÑE JR, C/CINSP DIVINA S CAMIÑA, C/CINSP RUBEN R FORMOSO, C/CINSP ROGER O BONCALES, C/CINSP MICHAEL M ARTIN, C/CINSP EDUARDO P GOGORZA, C/CINSP JOSEMARI D ALAMBRO, and C/CINSP RONILO D SALONGA respectively.
Meanwhile, C/CINSP EDUARDO P GOGORZA received the Leadership Award while C/CINSP GARY A GARCIA bagged the Marksmanship Award. All the graduates received certificates and medals for their achievements.
The Bureau of Corrections, under the supervision and support of DG CATAPANG JR, aims for personnel advancement to fulfill its goals for the bureau’s improvement.
