PMT-NHQ CONDUCTS ONSITE VALIDATION AT SRPPF

The Performance Management Team from the National Headquarters (PMT-NHQ), led by CT/SSUPT DOROTHY C BERNABE, Director of the Directorate for Reformation, successfully conducted an onsite Performance Validation at San Ramon Prison and Penal Farm (SRPPF) on 27 January to 31 January 2025.

The first day of the validation process began with an opening program held in the Conference Room of the New Administrative Building. During the event, C/SINSP ROMMEL J CAMPILIS, Chairman of the SRPPF Performance Management Team (PMT), delivered the welcoming remarks, followed by a message from CT/SSUPT BERNABE, who emphasized the importance of the validation process. A brief orientation on the Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) and the General Guidelines was presented by a member of the PMT, providing clarity on the expectations and procedures for the activity.

To conduct a thorough assessment, the PMT members were organized into five groups, each tasked with evaluating different offices within the prison. These groups were assigned specific indicators outlined in the SRPPF Operational Performance Commitment and Review (OPCR), ensuring that each area was examined in detail. The results of the onsite validation were presented after a comprehensive review, and SRPPF was awarded a “Very Satisfactory” rating. This evaluation reflects the institution’s dedication to meeting performance standards and the team’s continuous effort involved in the assessment process.

On behalf of SRPPF, C/SSUPT DAISY SEVILLA-CASTILLOTE expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the PMT and SRPPF personnel for their role in the successful validation. She assured that SRPPF remains committed to delivering high-quality service in line with BuCor mandates.
