The Corrections National Training Institute (CNTI) formally launched the Officers Advanced Course for Custodial (OAC-C) Class 2025-01 in a ceremony held at the CNTI Building on 15 April 2025. This advanced training program is intended to enhance the professional capabilities of 48 Corrections Senior Inspectors assigned to various Operating Prisons and Penal Farms (OPPF) under the Bureau.
The opening of the course was officially declared by C/SUPT LUCIO C GUEVARRA, Acting Director of CNTI. Spanning from 15 April to 17 June 2025, the OAC-C will adopt a Hybrid Learning Framework, integrating virtual modules with in-person engagements. This modality is intended to deliver rigorous instruction while ensuring minimal disruption to operational responsibilities across custodial facilities.
The ceremony featured CT/CSUPT MA CECILIA V VILLANUEVA, OIC – Deputy Director General for Reformation, Director, Directorate for Health and Welfare Service, and Chief of the New Bilibid Prison Hospital.
The OAC-C stands as one of CNTI’s developmental tracks—designed to enhance the foresight, integrity, and operational acumen of officers tasked with navigating the complex demands of modern correctional administration.
