In honor and remembrance of the 83rd “Araw ng Kagitingan” (Day of Valor) with the theme, “Kabayanihan ng Beterano: Sandigan ng Kaunlaran ng Bagong Pilipinas,” personnel of the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor), spearheaded by C/SUPT ROGER O BONCALES, NBP Acting Superintendent, gathered today, 09 April 2025, for a solemn simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony held at the Administrative Building Façade, National Headquarters, Muntinlupa City.
During the ceremony, C/SUPT MICHAEL M MARTIN, Deputy Director, Directorate for Security and Operations (DSO), delivered a message commemorating the historic event. He also reminded the personnel to continue to uphold the Courtesy and Discipline standards within the institution.
This significant day is a tribute to the unwavering sacrifices and heroic deeds of our Filipino veterans who valiantly fought for our country’s sovereignty. Let us continue to cherish the legacy and determination of our late heroes.
