The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) conducted an oath-taking ceremony for newly hired and promoted Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP), as well as the donning of rank for a newly promoted Corrections Technical Superintendent.
The ceremony was held at the New Conference Room, National Headquarters in Muntinlupa City. The oath-taking was administered by BuCor Director General GREGORIO PIO P CATAPANG JR., AFP (Ret.) CESE, CCLH. The ceremony was witnessed by BuCor Key Officials and personnel.
A total of four newly promoted and seven newly hired NUP took their oath of office, while CT/CINSP MARJORIE ANN P SANIDAD, MD, FIAMS was promoted to Corrections Technical Superintendent.
In his message, DG CATAPANG congratulated the newly hired and promoted personnel and reminded them of the importance of their role. He also urged them to always uphold the values of integrity, professionalism, and service. The newly hired and promoted personnel will be assigned to various correctional facilities bureauwide.
The integration of officer promotions aligns with the Bureau’s commitment to reform in several important ways. By aligning promotions with the Bureau’s reform goals, the system can ensure that officers are placed in roles where they can contribute most effectively.
