The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) held a motorcade earlier today, 11 March 2025, as part of the Women’s Month celebration. Organized by the Gender and Development (GAD) Committee of the Bureau and assisted by the Bilibid Riders Club (BRC), the Lady Riders BuCor Motorcade featured women personnel from BuCor, with support from the Muntinlupa Traffic Management Bureau (MTMB).
The assembly took place at the BuCor Administration Building façade. The motorcade started from the Administrative Grounds of the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) Reservation, passing through Alabang, Muntinlupa, before looping back to the NBP Reservation.
Various activities are lined up for the one-month celebration, spotlighting the achievements of women, raising awareness, and addressing issues related to gender equality and women empowerment.
The event aimed to highlight women’s active participation and contributions within BuCor, promoting camaraderie and community involvement.
