The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) held the traditional New Year’s Call at the Corrections National Training Institute (CNTI) Hall, National Headquarters (NHQ), Muntinlupa City on January 2, 2024.
The event was attended by Key Officials together with the, Commissioned and Non-Commissioned Officers after the first Flag Raising Ceremony for the year 2024.
The New Year’s Call is an annual tradition where esteemed Key Officials and personnel pay courtesy call to Director General, GENERAL GREGORIO PIO P CATAPANG JR, AFP (Ret.), CESE, CCLH of the bureau to reaffirm their dedication in the service and to show their appreciation for the support they have received. The attendees raised their glasses for a ceremonial toast as they embark on a journey towards a great future.
Subsequent to the New Year’s call, the Command Conference was conducted at the New Conference Hall, NHQ to discuss plans and strategies on the increased budget utilization for the bureau.
