The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) conducted the traditional Flag Raising Ceremony and awarding of commendations attended by the Commissioned Officers, Non-Commissioned Officers, Civilian employees and Corrections Officer 1 Trainees on September 9, 2024, held at the National Headquarters façade, New Bilibid Prison Reservation, Muntinlupa City. The event was hosted by the Separation Center Office headed by C/INSP ALLAN ROSALES.
After the Flag Raising Ceremony, Commendations were given to 20 outstanding personnel for their exemplary contributions and valuable support during the conduct of AFP Services Dependents Sports League 2024 held at the Philippine Air Force Gym, Pasay City, last July 13, 2024. The personnel who received the commendation were the following: CT/SUPT DOROTHY C BERNABE, C/CINSP MICHAEL M MARTIN, C/INSP ROMMEL R MUYARGAS, CTSO3 Christian D Cruz, CTSO3 Bernadette Martin, CSO1 Jefferson L Saño, CO3 Niño P De Vera, CO2 Rolly P Jerado, CO2 Lovely C Mariano, CO2 Bonna Maricar DP Barroga, CTO2 Florita Avelina Lanzar, CO1 Maricar R Sacapaño, CO1 Ronaldo C Areniego, CO1 John Harry D Tensuan, CO1 Maria Luisa C Domingo, CO1 Marivic S Alarcon, CO1 Philigie G Perez, CO1 Symon Paul C Areniego, Ms. Alicia B Martin, and Ms. Tonie Rose M Gogorza. Additionally, CO2 Bonna Maricar DP Barroga was also recognized for her active participation and performance as a Head Coach of the BuCor Taekwondo team.
