A total of 66 members of the Senior Custodial Supervisory Course (SCSC) Class 01-2023 “KALASAG” celebrated their graduation during the 1st ceremony for SCSC held at the Social Hall of the National Headquarters, New Bilibid Prison (NBP) Reservation, Poblacion, Muntinlupa City on March 08, 2024.
The graduating batch proudly marched the stage, receiving their completion certificates for successfully completing the course. The graduation ceremony marked a significant milestone for the bureau, as it was the first time a SCSC program had been conducted.
The ceremony also recognized 11 outstanding members of the Class 01-2023 “KALASAG” who have displayed paramount competence and excellence during the training. The following individuals hold the top ranks (1-10, in order): CSO2 Ronaldo D Palmiano, CTSO3 Christian D Cruz, CS02 Abraham L Magno, CSO2 Junel O Ramirez, CSO2 Carlito L Ramirez, CTSO3 Cherry Jane A Nuñez, CTSO2 Arnulfo A Jacinto, CTSO2 Jeanefer M Llanes, CTSO3 Monette M Martin, CTSO3 Manuel P Tabang, CSO2 Rudy M Mendoza Jr.
Meanwhile, CTSO3 Christian D Cruz received the Leadership Award; CSO2 Augustus B Concepcion (M), CTSO2 Rosa Lynn A Cordero (F) bagged the Marksmanship Award for the male and female categories; CSO2 Ronald D Palmiano (M) and CTSO3 Baby Holsyl R Caluag (F) were awarded the Bernardo Carpio.
Of the total graduates, 34 were from NBP-NHQ, nine (9) from San Ramon Prison and Penal Farm (SRPPF), eight (
from Davao Prison and Penal Farm (DPPF), eight ( from Sablayan Prison and Penal Farm (SPPF), four (4) from Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm (IPPF), and three (3) from Correctional Institution for Women (CIW).
