A total of ninety-three (93) Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) from the Correctional Institution for Women (CIW), Mandaluyong City had the privileged to visit and reunite with their loved ones who are also incarcerated at the New Bilibid Prisons’ Maximum Security Camp (NBP-MaxSeCamp), Reception and Diagnostic Center (RDC), Medium, Security Camp (MedSeCamp) and Minimum Security Camp (MinSeCamp) held at the Social Hall, National Headquarters on December 31, 2023 and January 1, 2024.
The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) strongly believes that the visitation opportunity during this Holiday Season alleviates the PDL worry and homesickness as they serve their term in the facility. The Bureau continues to prioritize the well-being and provide means to improve the living conditions of our clientele.
Indeed, this endeavor demonstrated compassion, as they meet their loved ones for the longest time.
