Corrections Chief Inspectors embark on Advanced Training Program

The Corrections National Training Institute (CNTI) officially launched the Officers Advanced Course for Custodial (OAC-C) Class 2024-01 during a ceremony held on July 23, 2024, at the Quarantine Facility Building.
This advanced program aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of Commissioned Officers, equipping them with the necessary tools to excel in their roles. The ceremony commenced with the participation of ten (10) Officers, all holding the rank of Corrections Chief Inspector. These officers from the National Headquarters and various Operating Prisons and Penal Farms are set to embark on this transformative training journey.
C/INSP ALLAN A ROSALES, Deputy Director of CNTI, officially declared the opening of the course. The OAC-C will be conducted using a Hybrid Learning Approach, blending traditional classroom instruction with online components. Spanning from July 23 to October 10, 2024, the course will provide a comprehensive learning experience.
The ceremony featured C/CSUPT MELENCIO S FAUSTINO, Director of the Bureau of Corrections Land Control and Management Center and Acting Director of the BuCor Business Center, as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. C/CSUPT FAUSTINO emphasized the vital role that effective training plays in improving the overall operations and safety within correctional institutions.
Gracing the momentous event was also MR. DALMACIO L CARINGAL, Director for Directorate for Personnel Education and Training Service (DPETS), As the OAC-C Class 2024-01 embarks on this educational endeavor, the CNTI remains committed to fostering excellence and innovation in the field of corrections, ensuring that its officers are well-prepared to uphold security and rehabilitation within the correctional system.
