DOJ SEC REMULLA visits IPPF

Iwahig, Puerto Princesa – LOOK: SECRETARY JESUS CRISPIN C. REMULLA of the Department of Justice (DOJ) visited Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm (IPPF) on November 10, 2023. He was the first-ever DOJ Secretary to visit the penal colony.

SEC REMULLA was warmly welcomed by the IPPF administration led by C/CINSP GARY A GARCIA, RCrim, MSCA, IPPF Superintendent together with all of the Commissioned and Non-Commissioned Officers, including the Non-Uniformed Personnel and Corrections Officer 1 Trainees (CO1/T).

During his visit, SEC REMULLA checked on the status and development of the ongoing DA and DOJ Reformation Initiative for Sustainable Environment for Food Security Project or the RISE Project at IPPF. He then mentioned that this project will be further strengthened in the coming years in collaboration with the private sector.

The Director General, GENERAL GREGORIO PIO P CATAPANG JR., AFP (Ret.), CESE, through the Superintendent of IPPF, C/CINSP GARY A GARCIA RCrim, MSCA, honors the arrival of SEC REMULLA at IPPF.
