DPPF and CIW-Mindanao salutes to the new Superintendent

On May 02, 2023, the former Superintendent C/SUPT RUFINO A MARTIN, MPA, CSMS of the Davao Prison and Penal Farm (DPPF) and the Correctional Institution for Women (CIW-Mindanao) led by C/CINSP DIVINA S CAMINA conducted a Change of Command and Turn-Over Ceremony to C/CSUPT GERALDO I ARO as the new Superintendent of this penal farm held at the Admin Building, DPPF.
 
C/SUPT MARTIN formally announced the Assumption of Command of the incoming Superintendent to the DPPF and CIW-Mindanao Officers and personnel during the ceremony.
C/CSUPT ARO together with C/CINSP DIOMEDES C DADOR JR and C/CINSP LUCIO C GUEVARRA immediately presided a staff meeting and assigned the following ranking Officials to their designated office after the ceremony. C/CINSP DADOR JR will be the OIC of the Office of the Deputy Superintendent for Security and Operations of this penal farm, C/SINSP RAYMUND F PENEYRA as the Chief of the Security and Operations. CSO4 Manuel and C/SINSP NONIE C FORRO, MsCrimm will be the Chief Reformation and Chief Administrative, respectively. Likewise, C/CINSP CAMINA, OIC-CIW-Mindanao introduced the Chiefs of all Section and Unit under her Area of Responsibility and discussed their respective work function and responsibilities as well as relevant matters.
 
In addition, concerns and queries were discussed and immediately addressed while other matters were noted for future references during the open forum. Hence, the meeting ended wonderfully. C/CSUPT ARO sincerely expressed his gratitude to former Superintendent MARTIN for the ceremony including his assistance and support in ensuring the smooth flow of the transition of command. He also added in his speech that being a public servant in the Corrections Service means to value the essence of selfless dedication and integrity. Hence, our uniform symbolizes the solidarity of our institution.
