The 37 members of Correctional Administration and Treatment Course (CATC) Batch 01-2024 celebrated their graduation in a ceremony held at the Social Hall, National Headquarters, Muntinlupa City on March 26, 2024.
Of the 37 graduates, three outstanding members have emerged on the top rank for their exemplary performance in completing the prescribed Program of Instructions of the CATC. The following individuals hold the top ranks (1 – 3, in order): Mr. Edmark Ipac, Ms. Maria Lourdes M. Montañez, and Ms. Michelle Angela Andrada. In addition, Ms. Deanne V. Villanueva received the Leadership Award.
The graduation ceremony was graced by BuCor Director General GREGORIO PIO P CATAPANG JR., AFP (Ret.) CESE, CCLH, who congratulated the graduates and urged them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct in their roles.
CATC is designed to professionalize the corrections service by providing the participants with knowledge and skills for efficient administration of corrections service. This is conducted by the Learning and Development Division, Directorate for Administration headed by the Acting Chief, CTSO2 Rosa Lynn A Cordero.
