On October 14, 2024, the Correctional Institution for Women (CIW) hosted an honorary retirement ceremony, celebrating the distinguished careers of CT/CSUPT MA LOURDES M RAZON, MD, and CO1 Ma Cecilia Veneracion. The event took place at the CIW parade ground, where colleagues, friends, and family gathered to pay tribute to the retirees’ dedicated service to the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor).
The ceremony featured a traditional Pass and Review, with both retirees recognized for their significant contributions to the bureau. Attendees included ASEC AL I PERRERAS, Deputy Director General for Administration, CT/CSUPT MARIA FE R MARQUEZ, Head Executive Assistant, and CT/CSUPT MA CECILIA VILLANUEVA, OIC, Deputy Director General for Reformation, C/CSUPT CELSO S BRAVO, and other notable officials. The presence of these key figures underscored the importance of the occasion and the legacy left behind by the honorees.
CT/CSUPT RAZON and CO1 Veneracion, in their farewell messages, expressed heartfelt gratitude to their colleagues and the bureau, reflecting on the challenges and triumphs of their careers.
