On May 04, 2024, a total of 107 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) were successfully transferred from the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) Reservation, Muntinlupa City to Leyte Regional Prison (LRP).
On board three buses, the PDLs were properly escorted by the security personnel of NBP headed by C/CINSP JOSEMARI D ALAMBRO, Deputy Director, Directorate for Security and Operations.
The newly transferred PDLs had undergone proper turn-over procedures such as accounting and inspection. The belongings of the PDLs were also inspected by the K9 units to preempt possible entry of illegal drugs inside the camps.
