The Davao Prison and Penal Farm (DPPF) Acting Superintendent, C/SINSP EDGARDO F MENDOZA JR., awarded the Certificate of Commendation to deserving personnel of DPPF on January 08, 2024, following the Flag Raising Ceremony.
A total of 89 personnel were given due recognition for their exemplary performance in the official course of their respective duties and functions. C/SINSP MENDOZA expressed his gratitude to the awardees for their selfless response to the call of duty. He also expressed his appreciation for the cooperation given by the workforce of both DPPF and Correctional Institution for Women – Mindanao (CIW – Min) in our bid to achieve a workplace with integrity and unity.
Under the leadership of the Director General, GENERAL GREGORIO PIO P CATAPANG JR., AFP(Ret.), CESE, CCLH, the DPPF has intensified its security measures and protocols to deter the proliferation of contrabands in prison camps. Likewise, it has also increased its efforts to effectively respond to perceived natural or man-made disturbances through its Contingency Plans.
