The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) hosted an oathtaking ceremony for 15 newly hired, three (3) promoted Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP), and five (5) Corrections Technical Senior Inspectors (CT/INSP) on February 29, 2024, at the New Conference Room of the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) Reservation, Poblacion, Muntinlupa City.
Five of the 23 new personnel were assigned to NBP – National Headquarters, three to Davao Prison and Penal Farm (DPPF), five to Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm (IPPF), eight to Sablayan Prison and Penal Farm (SPPF), and three to Leyte Regional Prison (LRP).
The new CT/SINSP and NUP all passed the rigorous stringent selection process by the Human Resource Division – Recruitment Selection and Placement Section (HRD – RSPS).
The BuCor under the headship of Director General GREGORIO PIO P CATAPANG JR., AFP (Ret.) CESE, CCLH, continuously rolls out its modernization program with the deployment of new CT/SINSP and NUP.
