On May 13, 2024, the San Ramon Prison and Penal Farm (SRPPF) attended the Regional Illegal Drugs Pre-Summit Conference organized by Police Brigadier General GERARDO L UMAYAO, Deputy Regional Director for Administration of Police Regional Office 9 at PRO 9 Conference Room, Camp Col Romeo A Abenden, Mercedes, Zamboanga City.
CSO3 Julius E Pareja, Acting Assistant Regional Superintendent for Security and Operations represented the SRPPF. Also present during the event were DIR III Maharani R Gadaoni-Tosoc, Regional Director, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region IX (PDEA R9), CG Commo Marco Antonio P Gines, Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) District Southwestern Mindanao.
The pre-conference summit aimed to share insights, other issues and concerns pertaining to the drug situation of Region 9 and this gathering serves as a vital platform for exchanging ideas, sharing best practices, fostering collaboration among other law enforcement of the region.
Under the guidance of Bureau of Corrections Director General GREGORIO PIO P CATAPANG JR., AFP (Ret.) CESE, CCLH and the leadership of SRPPF Superintendent, C/CINSP VIC DOMINGO F SUYAT continues to participate to other organizations and other law enforcement agency for the betterment of its region.
