BUREAU OF CORRECTIONS, Muntinlupa City — The seven-day training on Escort/Transport and Search/Recovery Procedures conducted by the Learning and Development Division (LDD) in coordination with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) successfully culminated on 14 March 2023.
The training formally commenced on 08 March 2023 at about 0800H at the New Conference Room, Administrative Building, Bureau of Corrections, National Headquarters (BuCor-NHQ). MR. THEODORE R. PEREZ, Acting Chief, Learning and Development Division graced the program by delivering his welcome remarks to the resource speaker, participants, and facilitators who were present in the event as he expressed his gratitude to the National Bureau of Investigation for its continuous support to the Bureau of Corrections. Furthermore, C/SUPT ROBERT A VENERACION, Director, Directorate for Security and Operations, delivered his inspirational message in preliminary to the introduction of the resource speaker and the conduct of the training.
Atty. Auralyn A. Pascual, Chief, Training Division, NBI, spearheaded the training together with the other NBI agents. They explained all the topics in line with Escort/Transport and Search/Recovery Procedures. The participants took part in the discussion and actively shared their insights and experiences about each topic. Moreover, participants ardently performed practical exercises that made the training more relevant and responsive to the needs of the bureau.
To cap off the training, participants were awarded with Certificate of Completion by CTSO2 Rosalyn A Cordero and Mr. Raymond R. Macorol.
The office of the Learning and Development Division successfully facilitated this training through the efforts of its Acting Chief, MR. THEODORE R. PEREZ and realized thru the strategic leadership of C/CSUPT GERALDO I ARO, OIC-Deputy Director General for Administration, and Director, Directorate for Administration.
The concluded training became possible thru the support and guidance of USEC GREGORIO PIO P CATAPANG JR., AFP (Ret.), CESE, Director General, Bureau of Corrections, whose administration aims to improve the skills and abilities of its personnel making it at par with other agencies hence, delivering the best quality of service, that BuCor’s stakeholders rightfully deserve.
