454 Strong Men and Women Graduates from the CBRC

Bureau of Corrections, National Headquarters – A total of four hundred fifty-four (454) strong men and women Corrections Officers composed of three hundred seventy-nine (379) males and seventy-five (75) females who successfully completed the prescribed training under the Corrections Basic Recruit Course (CBRC). The Class 20-2022 “Mandatos” (Mananatiling may Dangal at Tapat sa Organisasyon at Serbisyo”, commenced in a ceremony at the Parade Grounds, New Bilibid Prison, Muntinlupa City on Friday, June 23, 2023.
 
The ceremony was graced by the presence of BuCor Director, GENERAL GREGORIO PIO P CATAPANG JR., AFP (Ret.), CESE who also served as the Guest of Honor and Keynote Speaker. Also present were GENERAL AL I PERRERAS, AFP (Ret.), OIC-Deputy Director General for Administration (DDGA) and Chief, Legal Service; J/CINSP FLORENCIO R ORILLOSA (Ret.), Acting Director, Corrections National Training Institute (CNTI); C/SINSP ABEL DR CIRUELA, MSCA, Acting Chief, Human Resource Division, distinguished Key Officials and personnel of the Bureau.
 
This significant event honored the graduates’ outstanding achievements in various categories. The class top achievers (Ranks 1-10 in numerical order) namely: CO1 David F Caimoy, CO1 Princess Mae D Etulle, CO1 Robin A Gacias, CO1 Demie Anne Zedice T Yamon, CO1 Joyce Marie B Gonzaga, CO1 Doris Stephanie T Abella, CO1 Jay G Quisay, CO1 Rasheena Jane T Encarnacion, CO1 Jep G Omehang and CO1 Rachael L Reponte.
 
Meanwhile, CO1 Steven Zenrick Gaspar received the Leadership Award; CO1 Robin A Gacias- Tactical Leadership; CO1 Romello L Belloca (male) and CO1 Demie Ann Zedice T Yamon (female) for the Marksmanship; and CO1 Jayson O Lampago (male) and CO1 Sheryl J Villasi (female) bagged the Bernardo Carpio.
 
Through the headship and great endeavor of the Director General, GENERAL CATAPANG JR., the Bureau continuously works to improve its personnel in order to fully implement the modernization as mandated by R.A. 10575, also known as the “The Bureau of Corrections Act of 2013.”
 
Once again, Congratulations to the proud parents, family, loved ones, and guests who attended this momentous event as these graduates are now prepared to apply their newly acquired competencies during the training.
