On April 16, 2024, the Alpha Phi Omega Greater Los Angeles (APOGLA) Alumni Association team in collaboration with APO Muntinlupa Alumni Associations Scouts Royale Brotherhood conducted an Outreach Program for the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) held at the Old Visiting Area, New Bilibid Prison-Medium Security Camp (NBP-MedSeCamp).
The APOGLA distributed personal items such as hygiene kits, shoes, and pants to their PDL brothers who are currently incarcerated in the facility. Also, the PDLs were delighted to receive food packs.
C/CINSP RUBEN R FORMOSO, Acting Camp Commander, NBP-MedSeCamp, monitored the activity and ensured the guests’ safety and security through the Security Housing Unit (SHU) Officers and Security Patrol Unit (SPU) Officers who assisted and escorted them.
This outreach initiative underscores the teams’ shared commitment to providing aid and service to their APOGLA brothers.
