Iwahig, Puerto Princesa – The Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm (IPPF) honored the arrival of the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) Director General, GENERAL GREGORIO PIO P CATAPANG JR., AFP (Ret.), CESE last April 8, 2023, at IPPF.
During his arrival, GENERAL CATAPANG visited all IPPF sub-colonies and inspected prison camps as part of the proposed transfer of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) from the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) to other Operating Prisons and Penal Farm (OPPF) under the bureau that aims to decongest PDL population confined at NBP.
Through his visit, he shared his plans and vision that aim to improve and develop IPPF. The said visit of GENERAL CATAPANG JR, also serves to inspire and boost the morale of the IPPF personnel.
The Director General, GENERAL GREGORIO PIO P CATAPANG JR., AFP (Ret.), CESE, and the Superintendent of IPPF, C/CINSP GARY A GARCIA, always assure the quality of services being provided by all personnel for the benefit of the PDL under our care.
