LOOK | On June 05, 2023 the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor), through the office of the Directorate for Health and Welfare Services (DHWS) headed by CT/SSUPT MA CECILIA V VILLANUEVA, MD, CPRO, OIC, Deputy Director General for Reformation, Acting Director DHWS, Chief, NBP Hospital welcomed the group of officials from the Department of Justice (DOJ), Department of Health (DOH), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Muntinlupa City Local Government Unit LGU / City Health Office (CHO) and International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) conducted a Health Visit for Healthy Places of Detention at the Temporary Hospital and the New NBP Hospital, inside the Maximum Security Compound.
Furthermore, different Prominent Government Officials headed the said visit, such as, USEC DEO MARCO OF DOJ, ASEC FRANCIS JOHN TEJANO OF DOJ, ASEC BEVERLY LORRAINE HO OF DOH, MR. ALEXANDRE FAITE, Head of Delegation – ICRC, and DR. ALELI ANNIE GRACE SUDIACAL, Regional Director of MMCHD.
J/SINSP ANGELINE L BAUTISTA (Ret), Head Executive Assistant, Office of the Director General, OIC, Deputy Director General for Operations, Superintendent, New Bilibid Prison was also present together with Acting Director, DHWS to accommodate and entertain questions pertaining to the various areas of concerns and other information relative to the health services inside the biggest national penitentiary, during the rounds inside the NBP Hospital.
CT/SSUPT VILLANUEVA verbalized her profound gratitude to all the contingents for making time for the activity and for ensuring support, especially to the health service of NHQ-NBP.
